I was on the hunt for a specific Cervelo model, and the Tri Store had it available at an awesome price. Right from the get-go, their communication was fantastic, and I was updated on my order's status every step of the way.

Sadly, there was a hiccup with shipping that was totally beyond the shop's control, but they really went the extra mile to make sure the wait for my delivery was as short as possible.

Just had my first experience with The Tri Store and I gotta say, I'm quite impressed. Ordered a bike online, and they kept me in the loop since delivery was a bit tricky because of the fuel crisis. Let me tell you why I wouldn't recommend the tri store. My bike, which I've had for two years, has been nothing but a headache. When I first picked it up, I was thrilled; it looked fantastic. But boy, looks can be misleading! After just one ride, the headset got loose and chipped the frame's paint. They swapped out the frame, but then I noticed a squeak from the crank. They asked if my shoes were the issue, even though I use flat pedals. Seriously? They replaced the plastic pedals on my £5500 bike, but that didn’t fix anything. Turns out, it was a poorly fitted crank that needed new bearings. To top it off, I got a warped front disc right from the start. The bike mechanic told me to just keep bending it back, claiming that’s how disc brakes work. I bet Shimano would have a different opinion! While riding, I had to keep tightening the handlebars and seat clamp because they kept loosening up. Eventually, the seat clamp broke, forcing me to buy a new seat post and clamp. After my last service, they replaced the shifters but only set up one for gear changes. They also peeled the lacquer off the handlebars and, guess what? I needed new bearings in the crank again. Now it sounds like there’s no grease in there at all—just awful noise. Honestly, I think the bike mechanic must’ve been trained by Fisher Price or Halfords, 'cause the service I got was just plain subpar.

The folks at the shop were fantastic and super helpful, guiding me through the setup over the phone. My only gripe is that it took 12 days from placing the order to getting it delivered.

I really can't complain about the crew here. I purchased a bicycle online after seeing all the positive feedback, and Lawrence and Simon were just incredible. They were super nice and really went out of their way to help - exactly what you hope for from your local bike shop (though I did drive 200 miles to visit them!)
